Welcome to the official website of Ihab Al-Qazzaz
I have a PhD from the University of Nottingham, UK, based at the Centre for Structural Engineering and Informatics. My research focuses on the Circular Economy, Building Information Modelling (BIM), and Sustainable Construction.
I have worked in academia and industry (public and private sectors) for over 10 years.
Before my PhD studies, I served as Assistant Chief Engineer at the Investment Commission, Supreme Commission / Service Directorate, and as a deputy department manager and division head at the office of the Inspector General.
In parallel with my professional duties, I also worked as an External Lecturer at the Institute of Technology – Baghdad.
I hold an MSc in Civil Engineering – Construction Management from the University of Baghdad, and a BSc in Building Engineering and Construction Management from the University of Technology, ranking first in my class.
