I am currently a PhD candidate at the University of Nottingham, UK, based at the Centre for Structural Engineering and Informatics. My research focuses on the Circular Economy, Building Information Modelling (BIM), and Sustainable Construction.
I have worked in academia and industry (public and private sectors) for over 10 years.
Before my PhD studies, I served as Assistant Chief Engineer at the Investment Commission, Supreme Commission / Service Directorate, and as a deputy department manager and division head at the office of the Inspector General.
In parallel with my professional duties, I also worked as an External Lecturer at the Institute of Technology – Baghdad.
I hold an MSc in Civil Engineering – Construction Management from the University of Baghdad, and a BSc in Building Engineering and Construction Management from the University of Technology, ranking first in my class.
